Accessibility Analyst Consulting Position

Ablr is seeking experienced Accessibility Consultants to join our team on a contract basis. Our consultants play a key role in advancing digital inclusion by evaluating websites, applications, and digital content for accessibility barriers and recommending improvements to ensure compliance with standards like WCAG 2.2 and Section 508.

We conduct comprehensive manual accessibility and usability testing, ensuring that digital experiences are inclusive and accessible to all individuals. Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct accessibility audits of websites, applications, and documents using both automated tools and manual testing with assistive technology.
  • Provide clear, actionable recommendations for remediation and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and client stakeholders to address accessibility challenges.
  • Stay current with WCAG standards, emerging technologies, and accessibility trends.

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with screen readers.
  • Strong knowledge of accessibility guidelines and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with various accessibility tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written communication skills for documenting findings and recommendations.
  • Contract experience or comfort working independently with flexible hours. This is a contract opportunity with project-based assignments and flexible scheduling. It’s ideal for professionals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about creating inclusive digital experiences.

Other Details

Compensation is based on experience, ranging from $30 – 40 per hour.
