As we enter this next chapter for Ablr, I want to begin with something simple: I am incredibly confident, excited, and grateful for where we are headed.
Ablr was built around a powerful mission: creating greater opportunity, independence, access, and inclusion for people with disabilities. That mission has never been more important, and it remains at the center of every decision we make.
Over the years, we have accomplished a great deal. We have served clients across every industry, helped our Workforce Development candidates build careers and find meaningful employment, supported young people through Ablr Futures (Pre-Employment Transition Services), delivered accessibility leadership, counsel and services, and built partnerships that have expanded our reach and impact. None of this happens without people who believe that doing the right thing for people can also be good business.
I believe that is where our industry is headed. Accessibility and inclusion are not simply compliance exercises or ways to avoid risk. When organizations embrace them as part of how they do business, they open the door to stronger brand reputation, new perspectives and ideas, greater market reach, stronger bottom-line performance, and more unified teams. Most importantly, they create better experiences and greater opportunities for more people.
Doing the right thing for people is good for business, good for communities, and good for our planet. Everyone wins.
I am deeply grateful to our team, clients, partners, supporters, and the leaders who have had the courage to challenge conventional thinking and invest in a more accessible future. Your belief in this mission has helped make Ablr what it is today. This is a new chapter for Ablr. John Samuel played an important role in building our organization, and I am grateful for his leadership and the foundation he helped create. As he begins his next chapter with the State of North Carolina, we wish him every success.
For the past six years, I have had the privilege of serving as a co-founder of Ablr and building this organization alongside our team. I have seen firsthand what we can accomplish when talented people come together around a shared mission. That experience, along with everything we have learned along the way, gives me tremendous confidence in our future. We are strengthening our operations, evolving our products and services, investing in our team and talent, and building the infrastructure necessary to expand our impact. We are focused on becoming a stronger, more innovative, and more sustainable organization while remaining firmly grounded in our mission.
Our future is about more than growth. It is about impact. It is about supporting people with disabilities, creating opportunity, and bringing a human, people-first perspective to the way organizations in every industry approach accessibility, inclusion, technology, employment, and opportunity.
We are not simply preserving what Ablr has built. We are building what Ablr can become.
And that will require all of us. Ablr is the sum of its parts: our people, clients, partners, supporters, ideas, experiences, and, most importantly, our shared belief that there is a better way forward.
I have tremendous confidence in our team, our mission, and what we are building together. There is important work ahead, and I believe the best of Ablr is still ahead of us.
The next chapter of Ablr starts now. And we are ready.
